DAY DOCK
Welcome to our new Day Dock!

We are delighted to open the new Day Dock to the community. When you come to visit Cumberland Harbour, make sure you stop by the day dock to enjoy the view!
The Breezesta furniture has been delivered and arranged on the fixed dock for all to enjoy.
The day dock will be used for fishing, crabbing, launching a kayak or paddle board.  A kayak/paddle board storage facility is also planned.
You can also tie your boat up for the day, refill the coolers and bait and head back out on the water.

The NiteLites Company has completed the low-level dock lighting.

Southern Living Home Plans website is a great resource when buying a home.  There are so many different types of plans and they have a great search engine for finding just about anything you’re looking for.   This is what I found today!
This home plan is nice for a smaller lot size (preferably in our Park Place enclave) but also is large enough in square footage (just over  2,000 sq. ft.) for a family with children. 
The second floor is dedicated as an owner’s suite with a large walk-in closet as well as a winter closet for additional storage and dual sinks in the bathroom.
A large front porch is accentuated by these beautiful custom doors and transoms.
This home has plenty of space for private retreats as well as gathering spaces for family and friends.
This room could be an office or a den and has plenty of natural light with french doors leading to the front porch.
The spacious dining room is conveniently located across from the kitchen and has beautiful wooden beams to highlight the 10′ ceilings.
We love the small amount of wall paper leading up the stairs making it a great accent wall.
A spacious kitchen with plenty of cabinetry as well as more space in the island.  We always love a white kitchen with bold color paint on the island.
The Great Room has 12′ ceilings to let even more natural light in and make this space seem even larger than what it is.  Such an open and airy feel to this room as well as the rest of the house.
Although you won’t be turning this gas fireplace on just yet, it makes the Great Room look like a cozy space to spend time in on a cool winter day!
The Back door leads to a screened-in porch and a detached garage.
One of the bedrooms on the main level has a shared bathroom with a zero entry tile shower.

SUMMERTIME IS FOR SHRIMP
Everyone in the South loves shrimp and grits.  No matter where I go to dinner, I always try it.  It seems there’s always a somewhat different spin on how it’s prepared.  This one is pretty basic and I already bought my shrimp to try this recipe out.  Food Network gives it a five star rating.  What do you think?  {Note:  Made it last night–nice and light–delicious!}
