THE MANY FACES OF CUMBERLAND HARBOUR
Last week our newsletter featured the wildlife in our community.  Areas within our community are also as diverse as our wildlife.  We ask clients what type of home or homesite they are looking for only because we have a variety of different areas within our community.
This week we’ll be featuring all the different areas within Cumberland Harbour and show you some of the homes built in each area.
Park Place, as the name describes, is a park-like setting with beautiful tall pines surrounding the neighborhood.  We love the detached garages behind the homes and the alleyways where you drive in to access your spacious two-car garage.
These homes are on small homesites so there is much less lawn and garden maintenance for those looking to spend more time on other fun activities!    Most homes have between 1,500 – 1,800 sf and every inch of space is well utilized.
The McClintock is a three bedroom, two bath ranch with a side patio which is accessible through french doors off the dining area.
It has an oversized two car garage and great landscaping.
It boasts an open floor plan with an oversized eating area  with plenty of seating and a tray ceiling in the living room.  This home feels spacious and cozy all at the same time!
The Ashley River Cottage is another completed home in Park Place.  Also a three bedroom, two bath home with the master on the first floor and two additional bedrooms and a sitting area on the second floor.
This home offers an open floor plan, antique details and beautiful heart pine floors.
Last, but certainly not least in our Park Place homes featured, is The Cumberland.
This model again has three bedrooms and two baths with an open floor plan and beautiful tile accents in the master bath.
LAKE VIEW HOMES
This recently built home has two masters on the first floor, two additional bedrooms on the second floor and 3-1/2 baths with a beautiful view from the back porch.
This wood stork looks like its suspended in the air.
Beautiful antique accents in one of the master baths, 10′ ceilings and transoms above all doors as well as a gourmet kitchen with leathered granite countertops.
CHARLESTON PLACE
Charleston Place homes can be either on the marsh or on a nature homesite.  These elevated homes (above and below) are on the marsh and have spectacular views as well as an abundance of space with three levels.  These homes also boast side porches in the true Charleston style.
 We love the brick foundations and the beautiful architectural elements these homes display.
This home is a favorite with all of its turrets and impeccable landscaping.  It also has stunning marsh views.
Here is a home also in Charleston Place on the nature side of the enclave.
This home which recently sold, has a seamless layout and is light and airy throughout.
THE OAKS
A beautiful low country style two story home in the Oaks section of Cumberland Harbour.   We love our front porches!
This home has a great canopy of trees surrounding it.
This home is surrounded by grand oaks; its columns and corbels give it great design elements.
The interior of this home has a stunning barn door leading to a half bath and the kitchen island has some beautiful wide plank antique wood surrounding it.
This recently built home with a metal roof also is built with majestic oaks surrounding it.
A beautiful kitchen design with antique doors and transoms throughout make this home warm and inviting.
The last home featured in our Oaks section of the community has a truly stunning antique door, wood accents throughout the home as well as a cathedral ceiling in the great room!
MARSH VIEW HOMES
Our marsh views can literally take your breath away–especially this time of year with the incredible sunsets we have been having!
The interior on this home has beautiful views from all the rooms and the screened in back porch is a place where you can spend so much quality time!
This marsh front home has incredible views but also has a beautiful canopy of live oaks as well.
Views from every window, beautiful cabinetry and lighting and a deck that beckons you outside!
This home has a regal front staircase, but the beauty doesn’t stop there.  It is surrounded by live oaks, beautiful landscaping and a great built-in pool.
DEEP WATER
Our Design Review Board (DRB) requires homes have low country coastal colors and we think this home’s color is beautiful!
This home has many great design elements with stunning views.
The “blue” house also has a glass green house beside their home.
The “pink house” as this home is fondly called with its beautiful brick foundation, board and batten siding, whimsical colors and metal roof make you want to see so much more!
With a blend of old and new, this home boasts ship lap walls, beautiful chandeliers and stained glass transoms.  The back porch is a great place for watching the day go by or having a nice cool drink!
