We know we live in paradise, but another honor has  been awarded to St. Marys which only proves what we already knew!
St. Marys is a winner in the 2020 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest for Best Coastal Small Town. St. Marys was selected as a nominee, by an expert panel partnered with 10Best editors, for the contest which launched online. The contest gave the public four weeks to vote for the nominated candidate of their choice with the announcement of winners on July 10th.
“Looking at the winning cities, they are each uncrowded, casual, and offer affordable fun and livability that you just can’t always find in larger communities,” said Angela Wigger, director for St. Marys Convention and Visitors Bureau. “It was great to see the support of the community and of our visitors as the digital voting was taking place and we are pleased to have made the list.”
