Whether you’re looking for a typical breakfast burrito, eggs, pancakes, they have it all with a friendly staff, great prices, and you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve gone with our fur babies and had a great meal dining outside.

White Oak Conservation Society is a 17,000 acre haven for animals, people and ideas located on the banks of the St. Marys River, 30 miles north of Jacksonville Florida.  White Oak is home to hardwood hammocks, pine forests, and tidal wetlands.
White Oak’s story started in 1938 when the Gilman Family (of Gilman Paper Company) purchased the land.  In 1982, philanthropist Howard Gilman established a significant program for the conservation and propagation of imperiled species at White Oak.

In 2013, Mark & Kimbra Walter purchased White Oak.  The Walters have developed White Oak into an innovative, unique conservation space that visitors see today.
Since its inception in 1983, White Oak has worked with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission to bolster wild populations of critically endangered Florida panthers, Florida grasshopper sparrows and Mississippi sandhill cranes.
Where can you find the largest Asian Elephant Herd in the Western Hemisphere?  If you guessed at White Oak, you are correct!  The Walter Family has taken in 30 Asian Elephants most of which are retired from Ringling Bros.
