Although Cumberland Harbour is not a golf community, we have several great courses within a short drive.  Listed below are a few of our favorites:
#1 in our lineup is Osprey Cove Golf Course in St. Mary’s.  The year-round Osprey Cove golf course is set against a backdrop of sweeping marshes, tidal inlets and nature conservation areas. At every turn, the breathtaking panorama of the Low Country envelops you. Designed by PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber, the layout is a testament to McCumber’s commitment to establishing a course that is defined by the natural characteristics of the land and river. Osprey Cove has earned numerous accolades and been listed among Golfweek’s “Top 5 in Georgia” and Golf and Travel’s “Top 100 Modern Courses.” Golf Digest rated the course five stars and designated it: “A gem…must play if you’re within 100 miles.”
The golf course design is a testament to McCumber’s commitment to establishing a course that was defined by the natural characteristics of the land and the river while also incorporating traditional elements of strategy, variety, balance and surprise. The course and the clubhouse recently underwent over $2 million in improvements to ensure the value and the experiences here endure including all new Tifeagle Bermuda greens!
Although Osprey Cove is a private community, they offer tee times to the public most afternoons and evenings.
#2 in our lineup is the Trident Lakes Golf Course on the Kings Bay Naval Base in St. Marys.

This 18-hole course designed by Arthur Hills offers the Trident Lakes Golf Club App which includes tee time reservations, GPS yardage, scorekeeping, exclusive in-app deals, offers and more!  They have a grass driving range, putting/chipping green with practice bunker, a covered large pavillion, and free WiFi.

#3 in our lineup is Laurel Island Links in Kingsland.  Opened in 1996, Laurel Island Links has unique natural features that make it play like no other course in Southeast Georgia. Magnificent marsh views complement the 18-hole links-style course – a Davis Love III signature design.
Laurel Island Links is open to the public and delivers a top notch golf experience without the high green fees you would normally find at a course of this quality. Our rates are designed to be affordable for all.
#4 in our lineup is the Sanctuary Golf Club in Waverly.  Sanctuary Golf Club is a Love Golf Design/Fred Couples Signature course, which sits on the Golden Isles of Georgia and represents one of the top semi-private golf facilities in the state.
Sanctuary Golf Club is the first project for Love Golf Design that does not bear the name Davis Love III as the signature designer, but it is a partnership that blends the classic design elements from traditional golf course architecture with the techniques of modern day design.
The result at Sanctuary Golf Club  is a par-72, 7,003-yard layout that is different from the typical residential golf experience and one that is truly unique to the area. By working with the natural features of the land, Couples has created a course that is challenging without being penal, and one that golfers will not tire of playing.

Introducing Cumberland Harbour’s
homesite of the week!
 Homesite #32 on Sand Dollar Ct. is listed at $34,900.
This homesite offers a marsh view and the ability to have an elevated build at a great price point.

The St. Helena House is an Allison Ramsey home design from Southern Living House Plans that can be built (with approval from Cumberland Harbour’s Design Review Board) on this homesite.  It is a three bedroom, three bath home totaling 2,460 sq. ft. with beautiful porches and would be a great build for our homesite featured above.
